Renting makes sense when you need power for a limited time, or when you want to wait before buying. To prepare your request: renting or buying a generator.

How does a rental work?

A rental runs in four steps, from your request to the return of the generator.
  1. Describe your needYou describe your need: power or appliances to supply, duration, location.
  2. Receive a proposalWe check availability and propose a suitable generator with a quote.
  3. Hand-overThe generator is made available on the terms of the quote (transport, installation, fuel).
  4. Return of the generatorAt the end of the rental, the generator is returned.

What size of generator should you rent?

  • Add up the power of the appliances you need to run, in kW.
  • Allow a margin for motor starting: air conditioners, pumps, fridges, compressors.
  • If the set runs several hours a day, compare your needs with its prime power (PRP), not its standby power.
