Cutting equipment: what to know

Our Bison BSH500-190 floor saw cuts concrete and asphalt on site, to open a trench, cut a joint or rework a slab. According to its datasheet, it cuts 1 to 18 cm deep with a 300 to 500 mm blade. It has a 15 HP combustion engine and manual start.

Choosing a floor saw

The cutting depth depends on the blade diameter: a larger blade cuts deeper. Also choose a blade suited to the material, concrete or asphalt. The water tank wets the blade during the cut: the water cools the blade and keeps dust down.
