Our 2 Bison power tillers prepare the soil of a field, vegetable plot or garden before planting. Both models have a Bison BS170F engine running at 3,600 rpm. They work a width of 700 to 950 mm to a depth of at least 100 mm, according to their datasheets.
Choosing a power tiller
The working width sets the area covered on each pass: the wider it is, the fewer passes a large plot needs. The transmission matters too. A gearbox with several speeds lets you match the travel speed to how hard the soil is. Weight helps the tines bite into compact soil.
