Pool pumps: what to know
Our 2 LEO pool pumps circulate the pool water through the filter. The XKP1104E (1.1 kW) delivers up to 22.5 m³/h and the XKP1604E (1.6 kW) up to 27 m³/h, according to their datasheets. Both run on 220 to 240 V, 50 Hz, with 2" (50 mm) connections.
Choosing a pool pump
The pump's flow must let the filter treat the whole pool volume in a few hours. The choice therefore depends on the pool volume, the filter and the length of the pipes. The XKP1604E is more powerful: 1.6 kW versus 1.1 kW. It delivers up to 27 m³/h instead of 22.5 m³/h and lifts up to 17 m instead of 15 m. Both draw from up to 3.5 m and accept water up to 35 °C.
